Version 2023.9.1
With this update, our parent/guardian users can now calculate cost estimates, within the Scoir mobile app, for colleges that you and your student are interested in!
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EXISTING USERS:
If you’ve been using the Scoir Parent app, simply download this app and log in with your existing account.
We are excited to announce that parents/guardians can now take advantage of our Cost Calculator within the Scoir mobile app. Enter your financial information into our secure cost calculator and choose your cost estimation method:
1. Average Net Price
2. Income-based net price
3. Manually enter a custom price estimate, or
4. Use the Custom Price Estimate
Then, once you complete your cost calculation, you can easily see side-by-side comparisons of your estimated cost to the “sticker price” of colleges you view on Scoir. This information is secure and only visible to you. It is meant to serve as a guideline only.
Note: There are pending changes being made to college financial aid formulas, as well as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or the FAFSA, by the Department of Education that will impact the formulas used for these cost estimates. Once these new changes become available in December, Scoir will be updating our cost calculator accordingly.
